Training of horse and rider using natural methods.  Trail rides and hay rides. Sleigh rides in the winter.   Individual and group rides.  Horses boarded and trained.  Reservations required.

Huckleberry Multi-Use Trail Running from Clum Hill Road across from Cortina Valley, down around some of Tannersville Lake, all the way to Bloomer Road, the bike path covers approximately 2-miles. Walkers, hikers and cross-country skiers welcome. No motorized vehicles please.

North Lake/South LakeA beautifully maintained state park with hundreds of acres, swimming and boating. Campgrounds with restrooms and a nice beach that is ideal for families with young children. Good fishing at this lake.

Skateboarding ParkOpen from dawn until dusk. Helmets and pads are required. This state of the art street course consists of two street spines, flat banks, funboxes, quaterpipes, a handrail, and a grind rail.
Rip Van Winkle Lake
Snowtubing at Hunter MountainUp to 9 chutes, each nearly 1,000 feet long. Two tube tows to haul you back to the top. There is a minimum height requirement of 42".

Story HourCatskill Mountain Foundation Bookstore: The Village Square bookstore's weekly Story Hour features guests readers each week. Story Hour is held on Thursdays from 10:30 AM-11:00 AM and is open to the young and the young at heart.

Tannersville LakeAlso known as Rip Van Winkle Lake, a popular place to swim. There is a covered picnic area and pavilion. A lifeguard is on duty from 12 noon to 5pm. Swings, slide and basketball hoop.

Directions: Country Route 16. On Route 23A, at stop light, turn onto Depot Street, which runs into County Route 16. Coming up on your left is the swimming area.
Town Tinker Tube RentalRide down the Esopus Creek with the rapids or with the current as the Esopus winds thru the Catskills. Transportation available. Reservations required.
