Catskill Mountain Foundation Community Farm A hoop house for growing organic produce. The Foundation's educational outreach, in cooperation with the Cornell Cooperative Ext., includes a pilot program with the Hunter-Tannersville Elementary School for students.

North/South Lake Hundreds of acres of pristine state land. Campground and recreational area in the summer. In the winter, no fee use for hundreds of trails to delight the hearty winter sports person. Great for a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Tannersville Bike Path - Huckleberry Multi-Use Trail Running from Clum Hill Road across from Cortina Valley, down around some of Tannersville Lake, all the way to Bloomer Road, the bike path covers approximately 2-miles. Walkers, hikers and cross-country skiers welcome. No motorized vehicles please.

Rip Van Winkle Trail A very scenic route from Palenville to Haines Falls, following the footsteps of Rip Van Winkle. Built by prison chain gangs, Route 23A took 7 years to complete (1914-1921).
